Rep. Josh Harder on Democrats 'inexplicable decision-making' in 2022 House races

The California Democrat opens the New Year with a close-up view of the disarray on the House floor and a critique of his own party's political strategery.

Rep. Josh Harder, a third-term Democrat from Central Valley California, kicks off #TooCloseToCall’s 2023 podcasts with a view from the mess on the House floor and a critique of his party’s 2022 political decisions in close House races.

“In 2022, last year, there were a lot of districts that were very close that were decided by less than 1 point that the Democratic Party all but ignored … If you look at the outside polling and the inside polling in a lot of those districts, it was pretty clear that they were going to be decided by just a point or two one way or another and I think it’s inexplicable that we didn’t put up more resources to make sure that those candidates got across the finish line.”
