RFK Jr. is filling the summer enthusiasm void on the Democratic side. Why not debate Marianne?

Marianne Williamson is polling better than Mike Pence in their respective party’s presidential primaries — and yet while Pence has already procured a CNN primetime town hall, the spiritual guru is feeling erased.

“A big issue for me in this campaign has been this kind of erasure, this kind of invisibilizing that the polls themselves do not merit,” Williamson told me in an interview this week.

Williamson’s main obstacle at the moment, isn’t Pence, of course. It’s not even President Joe Biden, who has no intention of participating in any Democratic primary debates.
