The high command of Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign afforded its first extended interview since the election three weeks ago to Pod Save America’s Dan Pfeiffer, a friendly but gently probing interviewer who earnestly sought answers explaining the vice president’s defeat, but purposely ignored one core question altogether.

Here are my 4 takeaways from Tuesday’s 90-minute conversation with Harris campaign chief Jen O’Malley Dillon, strategist David Plouffe, deputy campaign manager Quentin Fulks and messaging consultant Stephanie Cutter.
